Hello there. Thanks for visiting my blog.
I’m Clare. I’m 22 and Irish. I graduated with a degree in English, History and Politics from Maynooth a year ago. Since then, I’ve been working for Hot Press magazine, charity ‘The Washington Ireland Program’ and currently, the government!
Academically, I’ve been dipping my toes into international relations and law, as well as leadership studies and development.
My background is in the media. I’ve worked for a range of publications and made a few appearances on radio and TV. If you want to take a look, this is me on Questions and Answers. I’ve also presented at a number of conferences, and am a keen debater.
I’ve traveled quite a bit. I worked as a volunteer in Zambia and an intern in the United States Senate. I also took part in ‘Youth Media Days’ in the European Parliament. I’ve toured around Europe and the east coast of America a bit just for fun.
I started this blog to comment and contribute to the world we live in. I feel that my career has stalled a bit and I’m eager to reignite it.
I plan to write here everyday, except weekends.
